Emotional Support Starfish: Anger

This design was originally made during a period where my life felt overwhelming and I needed something small, made with love, playful, and comforting to help ground me during that period of my life. I've always been fond of sea creatures and the ocean, especially starfish, because they are resilient, adaptable, and quietly expressive in their own way. This inspired me to design a collection of starfish that could capture feelings of softness, sturdiness, with a hint of relatable chaos. 

Each starfish has its own little personality, from the blank, unamused face to the dizzy spirals or anxious expressions. They’re intentionally simple because I wanted them to feel like an emotional mirror—tiny companions that embody the moods we all experience but sometimes can’t put into words.

The beaded bumps, glossy finish, and rounded shape were all part of creating something that feels tactile and soothing, almost like a worry stone with a face. The idea is that these starfish can sit on your desk, in your bag, or hang as a charm to remind you that it’s okay to feel a little overwhelmed or confused sometimes—you’re not alone, and even starfish have those days.

This particular starfish resembles felines of anger, with  red colors.
